Yawn Station Christmas Tree Farm #1

A few weeks ago, we took a field trip to Yawn Station Christmas Tree Farm.  The students were able to see chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, peacocks and pheasants, pet bunnies and chicks, ride on the train through the Christmas trees, plant a flower to take home, and play on the playground.

Towards the end of the field trip, some of the boys went walking around in the Christmas trees.

The smaller eggs were pheasant eggs. Farmer Joe was going to hatch these eggs.

Planting a plant to take home...each family got a pot (or two) with a flower for each of the children.

They gave each of the children a moonpie and a kool-aid drink as a snack.

Of course, everyone's favorite part was riding the train.

It was a great time of just hanging out with friends and enjoying God's beautiful creation.
